From when I was a little girl, I’ve always been sensitive. And my friends and family mistook me as a drama queen, a crybaby, fragile, and emotional. But once I understood that my sensitivity engaged me with the human experience on a deeper level, I began to harness those abilities. Those abilities are the roots of my talent and I’ve spent most of my young life sharpening, crafting, and honing in on them as my gateway into the arts. I needed an outlet to express life and it’s truth at a very young age. Growing up in Philadelphia has given me access to begin my work early. In highschool I had enough curiosity to fuel late nights in the theatre with projects and productions that my peers and I poured our hearts into. The Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush offered me the greatest mentors that challenged me past my limits. Later, that lead me to Albright College in which I worked on a professional level building both a creative process and a work ethic. Opportunities including independent productions, creative research projects, and artistic education has provided many skills for my passion. My study abroad program, The National Theatre Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Center immersed me completely in creating work DIY style in a constant forward momentum. The curriculum stretched me as far as clowning school and biomechanics. During my education in all my institutions, I have kept myself busy inside and outside the classroom through acting, singing, playwriting, songwriting, design, lighting, sound, stage managing, directing, painting, illustration, dance, and cinematography.

I think the arts requires communities to meditate on our evolution, and also evaluate it. The arts empowers individuals to live more empathetic, and if we have empathy we have the potential to understand others. As an actor, I am overwhelmed with my fascination with human behavior. As a director, I have visions that directly reflect the image of human nature. As a writer, I am diligent about documenting pieces of our society that need to be recognized. And as an artist, I am dedicated to share and inspire the world through imagination.
